Nick Shepherd, COO 

I serve as the Chief Operating Officer at The Wise Center, where I’m focused on making it as easy as possible for clients and families to access high-quality care. Behind the scenes, I support our team and work closely with leadership to strengthen our day-to-day operations, simplify processes, and help the practice grow in a thoughtful, sustainable way.

Before joining The Wise Center, I spent over a decade working in healthcare operations and customer experience, including leadership roles at Included Health and Alight Solutions. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead large teams supporting millions of members, always with a focus on improving service, building strong teams, and using data to create better outcomes.

I graduated from Southern Methodist University and live in the Birmingham area with my family.
